3:19pm Wednesday 14th August 2013 in News
YOUNG leaders are being recruited by a Lancashire youth group.
Young People’s Service Lancashire is hoping to find two candidates to help create the next generation of cultural leaders.
The service’s Blaze project, which has seen festivals and events put on across the county, is offering two paid 12-week posts.
Blaze is launching a new scheme called Ignite which will invest in the next steps in the creative development of young people.
The scheme is designed to mould potential future creative producers within Blaze.
The two posts within the Blaze team this year take place in the run-up to the Blaze Festival 2013.
These will be paid roles of up to 14 hours per week at £7 per hour for a temporary period from September to December 2013.
Young people aged 16 to 21, based in Lancashire, are eligible to apply.
