Single to help fund for Hoddlesden cancer patient

A GROUP of musicians have come together to release a charity single to raise cash for the Sam Shaw Appeal.
Full Circle, formed by Darwen singer Paul Stuart Davies, and made up of unsuccessful auditionees for the first series of BBC’s The Voice last year, have recorded ‘My Wish’ to help the four-year-old’s fundraising drive.
Sam’s parents’ Christine and Carl, of Hoddlesden, launched the appeal after being told their son had childhood cancer neuroblastoma.
His best chance of survival is if he receives immunotherapy treatment in the US, which is unavailable on the NHS, and costs £250,000.
The group released ‘I Believe’ last year to raise cash for Me and Dee, a Derby-based charity that provides special moments for people who suffer from illness, or disability.
Mr Davies, frontman of popular local band SoulTrain, later released ‘Mighty By Nature’, in memory of neuroblastoma victim Lewis Mighty, which reached number 28 in the UK indie chart.
The new song is available to view on YouTube and can be found at www.youtube.com/user/paulstuartdavies To donate to the Sam Shaw Appeal, visit www.justgiving.com/samshawappeal
