Blackburn with Darwen ex-armed forces offered support

A SUPPORT service for ex-Armed Forces personnel has been relaunched in Blackburn with Darwen.
‘Live at Ease’ is available to anyone having served in the forces, and their family members, and offers a range of non-clinical interventions It is delivered under Your Support, Your Choice, which aims to improve the lives of adults across the borough. The free and confidential service is based at 9a Town Hall Street, opposite Blackburn Library, with surgeries every Monday from 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Live at Ease is commissioned through the NHS and also supports the agenda of supporting County Council obligations under their “Armed Covenant Agreements”.
Coun Mohammed Khan, Blackburn with Darwen Council’s executive member for health and adult social care, said: “Blackburn with Darwen Council is committed to supporting our armed forces. We recognise and remember the sacrifices they make.
“The ‘Live at Ease’ service is there to help in many different ways.”
