THE SECOND Burnley beer and music festival takes place at the Mechanics theatre in September.

The East Lancashire CAMRA group will be running the event from Thursday September 5 to Saturday September 7, with over 90 real ales.

Organisers hope to create a real festival atmosphere, with live music, festival glasses, food and much more on offer.

Coun John Harbour, Burnley Council’s executive member for leisure and culture, said: “We’re really pleased to be welcoming CAMRA back for the second beer festival, which we hope will become an annual fixture on the Burnley events calendar.

“Last year we welcomed thousands of guests and had some really positive feedback.”

Tickets cost just £3 a day, and just £1 for NUS and CAMRA members. Doors open at noon and close at 11pm.
