PEOPLE can meet specially trained dogs used in investigations, a police horse and explore a working fire engine during an open day at Darwen Fire Station.
Other attractions will include an aerial ladder platform firefighters use to access blazes in tall buildings, a zumba dance show, a bouncy castle, face painting, stalls, raffles and a tombola.
Crew manager Pete Derbyshire said: “It should be a great day, and everyone should come down and enjoy it with us.”
The event is planned to be held at the station, in Union Street, on Saturday, July 20.
