SCOT Rockers Nazareth’s catalogue has been extensively remastered and reissued with original albums and selective compilations being released in recent years.

One thing that you can guarantee with this band is that they can rock with the best of ‘em, and this compilation showcases the fact.

The toughest rockin’ tracks have been cherry-picked from their releases on this 18-track collection encompassing the years 1973 to 2008.

There’s at least one track from almost every album from Razamanaz to The Newz and they are all no-nonsense rockers.

If you played the tracks in chronological order, you’d be able to chart their development, but at the same time, be able to note that their style has remained unchanged for the 35 years that this collection covers.

Hair of the Dog, Razamanaz and This Flight Tonight, despite being from 1973 and 1975, still form part of Nazareth’s live set today and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

There are of course other gems such as Telegram, Night Woman and Right Between The Eyes, but they are all out and out rock classics.

In some ways, this collection is the very best of Nazareth ‘cos rockin’ out is what they do best.
