Speak to the Burnley decision-makers
10:02am Tuesday 12th March 2013 in News
THE latest in a series of public meetings which give people the chance to speak to Burnley Council decision-makers is being held tomorrow.
Members of the public are invited along to chat to Coun Andy Tatchell about the work being done to revitalise Burnley’s economy, create jobs, and attract new businesses to the borough.
The event will be held between 11am and 1pm, in the entrance foyer of the Lancashire Digital Technology Centre, in Bancroft Road, Burnley.
Topics up for discussion could include plans to develop the local economy, the council’s new business support programme, promoting the borough as a place to invest, and creating the workforce of the future.
Coun Tatchell said: “Creating a strong, vibrant local economy is vital to the future of our borough. We need to do all we can to help support business, so they can create much-needed jobs.”
