A YOUNG woman threatened to jump from the top of the the multi-storey car park at The Mall, Blackburn, yesterday afternoon.

A police negotiator was called in and he persuaded the 18-year-old to come down at 4.30pm.

She had stood on the edge of the building for an hour.
