LANCASHIRE County Council is backing the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, or transgender (LGBT) Adoption and Fostering Week, which runs until March 10.
Coun Susie Charles said: “In Lancashire we have a number of same-sex couples providing stable and loving homes for children and young people who cannot live with their own families.
"I’d like to reaffirm that we welcome applications from people of all ages, single, married, cohabiting, in same-sex relationships, with, or without their own children, working or not.”
