Great Harwood primary school pupils wish the Queen well
CHILDREN at a Great Harwood primary school wished the Queen a speedy recovery from her illness as one of their teachers headed to the capital for a royal event.
Year Three teacher at Great Harwood Primary School Zahida Karim said she was going to a reception for MPs and MEPs at Buckingham Palace today with her MEP husband Sajjad.
Mrs Karim said: “Unfortunately we won’t be seeing the Queen because she is ill. But the children in my class made a get well soon card for me to take down with me.
“I explained all about the event to them and about the Queen being unwell.”
