Award for Lancashire police commissioner elections publicity tean

STAFF who publicised Lancashire’s Police and Crime Commissioner elections have won a prestigious award.
The team responsible for public relations was shortlisted for three awards and won the most informative video category at the Golden Hedgehog PR Awards. They were nominated for their Be Part Of It campaign, launched by the former Lancashire Police Authority, to raise awareness of the Police and Crime Commissioner elections, won by Clive Grunshaw.
The prize-winning entry was a video which had 30,000 views featuring The Lancashire HotPots and encouraging people to get involved in the November elections.
Naomi Walker, head of communications and engagement, Police and Crime Commissioner for Lancashire, said: “I am delighted. I would like to thank everyone involved.”
