TWO men ended up in hospital after a mass brawl outside a Blackburn nightclub.
Police were called to Darwen Street, at 3.10am on Sunday, after a fight started in Liquid Envy, and spilled out on to the street.
One man suffered a fractured jaw, and the other had head injuries.
The man with head injuries was still being treated at Royal Blackburn Hospital yesterday.
Police are appealing for witnesses as they try to establish who was involved in the fight, and how it started.
DI Jill Johnston, of Blackburn Police, said: “When the officers got there, it was an absolute melee, with about 20 people around.
“At this stage we haven’t made any arrests, but our inquiries are ongoing.
“We will be reviewing CCTV footage from Liquid.”
