Work to start on aerospace park at former Burnley Michelin site

BARNFIELD Construction plans to start work on the aerospace supply park on the former Michelin site in Burnley later this year.
The Pendle-based firm is in the final stages of purchasing the site, which has received Regional Growth Fund cash from the Government.
Tim Webber, managing director at Barnfield, said: “There has been a keen interest in the Michelin site already from local aerospace companies and we plan to start construction work on the supplier park later this year.”
