11:05am Thursday 21st February 2013 in News
A HOUSEHOLDER who dumped bin bags behind his home after claiming his wheelie bin was stolen has been fined £130.
Shaun Booth, 26, of Hobart Street, was also ordered to pay £75 costs by Reedley magistrates after admitting failing to comply with waste collection regulations.
Jonathan Jackson, prosecuting, said a Streetscene officer found bags of refuse behind Booth’s home.
He had been warned previously about similar conduct.
