A TEENAGER has admitted robbing a man of £1,000 in the street while armed with a crowbar.
Preston Crown Court heard Oliver Green, 18, of Sycamore Grove, plead guilty to robbing Paul Mountain while armed with an offensive weapon. The attack happened in Lloyd Street, Darwen.
The defendant will now be the subject of a ‘Newton hearing’, as the Crown Prosecution Service does not accept the basis of his plea.
A sentence date will now be set for Green following the ‘Newton hearing’ on March 21.
