DETECTIVES searching for a man who sexually assaulted a 14-year-old schoolgirl are following up on potential leads.
Officers in Hyndburn CID are sifting through information that may help them find the attacker who struck in Sabden on Monday around 7.30am. The youngster had been walking along Padiham Road when she was grabbed by her attacker.
He put his hand over her mouth and tried to force her to take down her trousers before she fought him off.
