DUMPING rubbish cost a Darwen resident £210.
Lisa Marie Walker, of Sudell Road, was ordered to pay the cash after waste from her home was found fly-tipped in the alley behind her house. She was charged with failing to comply with a Section 46 notice of the Environmental Protection Act 1990, by not disposing of her rubbish properly.
The case was brought before Blackburn Magistrates Court by Blackburn with Darwen Council.
The court heard that rubbish was found dumped in the alley behind Sudell Road.
Evidence recovered from the scene pointed to Ms Walker as the culprit.
She was fined £100 and ordered to pay £90 costs and £20 victim surcharge.
