A MAN who failed to turn up for sentencing after his baby son died when a TV fell on his head has been arrested, police said.
Edward Hanratty, 41, was arrested in West Yorkshire almost two weeks after a judge issued a warrant at Preston Crown Court.
He was due to be sentenced after admitting child neglect.
His ex-partner Natalie McMillan, 25, was jailed for 15 months for the same offence.
Their four-month-old son Kian died at a house in Scarlett Street, Burnley, last December 6, when a five-stone TV fell on him causing 'catastrophic injuries'.
Hanratty, of Dirkhill Road, Bradford, has been remanded into custody to appear at Preston Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday 27 February.
