AN appeal has been launched for volunteers to help staff women’s aid centres in East Lancashire.
People who can spare just one day a week are being asked to come forward by East Lancashire Women’s Centre for its offices in Blackburn and Accrington.
Travel costs will be met for volunteers and training will be given to those who enrol. Personal development courses are also offered regularly.
The Blackburn office is in Wellington Street and the Accrington office is in Blackburn Road, opposite the bus station.
