Broken-down vehicle causes delays on the Grane Road at Haslingden

A BROKEN down vehicle caused severe delays on the A56 Northbound between the Grane Road and junction 8 of the M65.

The blocked lane caused severe traffic delays as motorists heading away from Haslingden, towards the M65 were affected.

Police attended the scene and the car was recovered.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HHH !!! LT has deleted ALL the comments BUT has now agreed the Grane Road is NOT an A road.

However, read the headline and then the story . . . . it still identifies the wrong road in the "eye-catching / attention-grabbing " headline.

LOL! On another report this morning the LT went to great pains to point out that an apostrophe wasn't need, yet get the hump when people point out glaring errors in their reporting like this. Grow up or find some better reporters.
