East Lancashire tribute artist sued by Meat Loaf plans Valentine show

TRIBUTE artist Dean Torkington, who made headlines when he was sued by international star Meat Loaf, is playing a gig in Blackburn later this month.
The singer, who was ordered to pay the artist $30,000 after a row about his website, will play Thwaites Empire Theatre on Thursday, February 14.
The Valentine’s Day show will feature Dean, from Burnley, performing Elton John’s love songs in the first half followed by a legends of rock power ballads show after the interval.
