THE Friends of Darwen Library will hold their annual meeting at the building on Monday, February 11 at 6pm.
During the meeting at the Knott Street venue they will reflect on their achievements of the past year and plan their activities for the year ahead. New members are welcome.
The group will also be supporting a job club event on February 14 and providing tea and coffee throughout the day.
A talk by Darwen resident, Paul Taylor, at Darwen Academy, will be heard by members on February 27 at 7.30pm. Paul will describe his experiences climbing Mount Everest. Admission is £2. For further information, or to reserve a place, call 01254 706021.
