TWO people from Blackburn have been charged following a disturbance in Liverpool city centre last July.
Shane Calvert, 32, of Shetland Close; and Peter Hawley, 52, of Alisa Road; have been charged with violent disorder.
The charges follow a pre-planned operation by the North West Counter Terrorism Unit on October 2 last year.
On Friday, July 6, last year, in Liverpool city centre, three members of an anti-fascist group received minor injuries after being kicked and punched by a group of around 10 men.
Four other people from Merseyside have also been charged with violent disorder.
They are all due before Liverpool Magistrates’ Court on February 7.
