PROUD mums cried tears of joy on finding their children had been crowned East Lancashire’s cutest kids.

The winners of the Lancashire Telegraph Little Treasures competition, run in association with The Mall Blackburn, are: 19-month-old Jessica Fogarty from Clitheroe, in the newborn to three-year-old category; and Georgia Miller, five, a pupil at Saint Wulstan’s Catholic Primary School, Rushton Street in Great Harwood, and in the four to six age group.

The winners received a large canvas print of the photographs taken at sessions in November, Little Treasures trophies and a £100 cheque.

Marie Hannon, Georgia’s mum, said: “Her dad and I always call her the most beautiful girl in the world, but I was so shocked when they told me she’d been picked. We never go in for competitions, but I love photographs.

“It hit my heart straight away and I cried and cried.”

Jessica’s mum, Amanda Woods, from Clitheroe, said: “I was so overwhelmed and happy, and just so proud of her.”
