BRAINS, snout and pig cheek will be on the menu at Accrington and Rossendale’s pop-up restaurant.
The ‘Beasty Boys’ menu will be coming to the college’s Eatery 1853 – a pop-up restaurant to showcase variety meats. Nose-to-tail dining will be the order of the day when the menu brings a special brand of cooking to the restaurant.
The meal will take place on Thursday, January 17, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm, and diners can enjoy the more unusual cuts of meat.
Highlights of the menu include brawn - head meat including snout, terrine with lamb’s brain, confit of pig’s cheek, and braised stuffed lambs hearts with pickled walnuts and mash.
Meals cost £15 per head, and tables can be reserved by calling 01254 602 020. The meal will take place at Eatery 1853, in The Globe Centre, Accrington.
