Briercliffe horse charity appeals for unwanted Christmas gifts

HORSE protection charity HAPPA is appealing for donations of any unwanted Christmas gifts.

HAPPA (Horses and Ponies Protection Association) is looking for items such as sweets, chocolates, gift sets and even alcohol.

If it’s unwanted and unused it could help raise funds on a tombola or raffle.

They are also appealing for newer DVD releases, good as new clothing and good as new children’s toys to help boost their auction shop.

To drop off any goods visit their base at Shores Hey Visitor Centre, in Briercliffe, between noon and 4pm Friday to Tuesday.
