A TEENAGER who attacked a 55-year-old disabled man has been warned he faces jail.
Burnley Crown Court heard how Liam Vyse, 19, left Philip Barnes needing five stitches after the assault, in which he was said to have pushed Mr Barnes into moving traffic.
Vyse and others had been mocking the victim who has a brain injury and has trouble walking.
Vyse, of Burnley Road, Brierfield, had earlier admitted assault causing actual bodily harm, last July 17. He was bailed until January 25, for a pre-sentence report, on condition that he does not contact the victim.
Judge Simon Newell told him: “All sentencing options are at large including custody.”
