A COLNE primary school has been classed as good by Ofsted inspectors.
Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Primary School, in Red Lane, was recently visited by the independent body.
Inspectors noted that good leadership, and teamwork, since the previous inspection has made sure that the rate of pupils’ progress has accelerated, and pupils are making good progress.
Pupils develop good reading and writing skills, and the quality of teaching, and leadership, is good.
Inspectors said it was not yet an outstanding school because pupils did not have enough chances to use their problem-solving skills, particularly in maths, and teachers did not share good practice with each other often enough.
