Burnley and Padiham residents urged to talk to police
10:57am Friday 7th December 2012 in News
NEIGHBOURHOOD police officers are urging residents living in Burnley and Padiham to attend monthly meetings in their ward.
Police and Communities Together (PACT) meetings are taking place for all wards during December, and officers are urging people to come forward with their concerns so that they can tackle them.
A police spokesman said: “Every single ward in Burnley and Padiham has a dedicated Neighbourhood Policing Team in their area working with them to keep them safe.
“Through initiatives like PACT is it is their aim to identify local concerns and tackle them. Where we know there is a clear problem, we can take action - and we do.
“All we ask is that people come along to the next PACT meeting to see us and to discuss with us any crime and disorder issues they may have.”
