Clarets boss Sean Dyche is officially welcomed by Graham and Carole Knott as he opens The Queen Hotel, Cliviger
THOUSANDS of Burnley fans have shown their support for new boss Sean Dyche by donning special beard masks for ‘Dychember’.
A couple of thousand of the masks were given out to fans this weekend but around 10,000 will be handed out at the official ‘Dychember’ game when Burnley host Dyche’s former club Watford at Turf Moor.
Fans have been tweeting the photos of themselves in the Dyche masks and the best of them will be printed in the Watford programme.
The club are hoping for another bumper crowd for the Watford game on Saturday December 15 and are running a special ticket deal for the game.
A club spokesman said: “It is a nice way to welcome Sean to the club and he thinks it is fantastic. He has seen some of the photos and he loves it. It’s the last home game before Christmas and against his former club so we are running the ticket offer and hoping for another great crowd.
“It can be an expensive time for everyone but hopefully by reducing the prices we are helping get people to the match.”
Tickets for the Watford match are £10 for adults, £5 for seniors, students and 16-to-18-year-olds and £1 for under 16s.
