Blackburn former BAE worker found dead

A RETIRED BAE engineer was found dead in his home by care workers, an inquest heard.
The body of Basil Lucas, 80, from Spring Court assisted living home, Blackburn, was found on November 21 in a wheel chair by his bed.
An inquest into his death, which opened on Tuesday at Blackburn coroner’s office, heard how care workers had discovered his body three days after he had died.
The inquest is due to re-open on March 5 pending histology and toxicology tests.
