A MAN and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of theft after a charity collection box was stolen from an off licence in Blackburn.
The box at Bargain Booze in Livesey Branch Road, collecting money for Epilepsy Bereaved in memory of former staff member Matt Boardman, was taken on Sunday afternoon.
Police said a 26-year-old woman and a 54-year-old man were arrested at an address in Blackburn at 1.30pm yesterday.
They were still in custody last night.
