Heavy rain forecast for East Lancashire
Heavy rain, thunder and gusts of wind are expected to hit East Lancashire today.
This morning's scattered showers will be replaced by persistent rain this afternoon.
Rain and wind is expected to clear by this evening.
Lancashire County Council is warning motorists to take extra care this afternoon, and says there may be localised flooding in some areas.
