VAN owners are being urged to be on their guard after power tools worth £2,000 were taken from vehicles left unattended across Burnley.
In the latest attack, on a van parked in Smith Street, Worsthorne, a Bosch breaker hammer was taken, at around 6.30pm last Thursday.
Extra patrols have been pledged and motorists are being asked to report any suspicious activity to police.
Det Insp Jes Holland said: “I urge people to make sure they lock their cars and vans and remove any property from display.”
