AN ELDERLY woman was taken to hospital with minor injuries after her car was in collision with a HGV.
The incident happened at the junction of Wiswell Road and Clitheroe Road in Whalley at around 4.10pm yesterday (Nov 20).
PC Mark Royle-Evatt said: “The lady has pulled out in her blue Nissan Micra in front of an HGV from a side road.
“Both drivers were OK but the lady was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital.”
