Man charged with murder in Blackburn

A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder following the death of a Blackburn man who was assaulted earlier this week.
Thomas Hill was taken to the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Tuesday morning before being transferred to the Royal Preston Hospital. Sadly, he died of his injuries yesterday afternoon.
Michael Cocker, of Fielding Crescent, Blackburn has been charged with murder, and remanded into custody to appear before Blackburn Magistrates on Monday morning.
