A MAN found bleeding and unconscious in a Bacup car park has been discharged from hospital.
He was discovered by a concerned passerby outside the Co-operative shop in Irwell Street at around 6am on Saturday morning.
Police initially believed the man’s head injuries were the result of an assault, and he was sent for treatment at Royal Blackburn Hospital.
Further investigations concluded that the injuries were the result of several falls and the man is recovering at home.
