A MAN who groomed youngsters online has been jailed for five years after confessing to targeting girls at Todmorden High School.
Stephen Woolley, 27, confessed to grooming two youngsters over the internet, admitting 25 charges, at Bradford Crown Court.
He also asked for 24 similar offences to be considered.
An investigation revealed that Wolley, of Stocks Lane, Luddend-enfoot, had mainly focused on enticing girls at the Burnley Road school, and Calder High School, in Hebden Bridge.
Speaking after the court case, Detective Inspector Gail Lawrie said: “This was a disturbing case and highlights the dangers associated with predatory individuals using the internet to target young, and often vulnerable, people.”
