Worried family steps up search for Blackburn dad missing for two weeks
1:36pm Thursday 1st November 2012 in News
David Young
WORRIED friends and family of a man missing for more than two weeks will step up their search tonight.
David Young has not been seen since October 17, and an extensive search of Blackburn has been organised tonight.
A further search will take place on Saturday if the 28-year-old has still not been found.
Police divers have combed the canal and special sonar equipment was used, but nothing was discovered.
Mr Young, father to two six-year-old twin boys, was last seen visiting the Co-op store, in Livesey Branch Road.
Mr Young is described as 5ft 9ins tall, with short dark hair.
When last seen he was wearing a white T-shirt, with a blue and black striped jumper, and Adidas tracksuit bottoms.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
