Darwen MP backs bill cutting bid

DARWEN’S MP has backed a campaign aimed at helping people to slash their energy bills.

Jake Berry gave his support to Big Energy Saving Week, which ran last week.

Mr Berry said: “It is now, when the temperatures start to drop, that people in Darwen begin to worry about whether they will be able to afford their winter energy bill.

“That’s why I backed Big Energy Saving Week to make sure my constituents aren’t paying more than they need to.”

To ease the strain of energy bills on their budget, people can get advice online at bigenergysavingweek.org.uk, by calling 0300 1231234.
