Your thriving business has just suffered a severe setback due to fire. You are, to say the least, somewhat shocked.
Along comes person "know it all", casting aspersions as to the reasons for the fire.
You ask, naturally, why someone would do that to a thriving business, only to get the throw away comment "because insurance is easier" (which I note has now been removed by the powers that be, along with the response).
In the circumstances, I think I short, terse response is entirely understandable. If it had been my house / business which had gone up in smoke, I think I would have done the same with as much, if not more, bad language.
