POLICE are issuing a new appeal for witnesses to a vicious attack.
A 19-year-old was set upon by a group of more than 10 Asian men as he walked on Railway Street, Brierfield, just after midnight on July 13.
He was badly beaten and received hospital treatment.
A spokesman for Nelson police said: "Police believe residents who may hold valuable information.
