MEMORIES and photographs will soon be all that's left of St Bartholomew's at Ewood, Blackburn.
The church and school, in Bolton Road, have both been replaced by new buildings, but before the old ones are reduced to rubble, pensioner William Norris has delved into his album to find this old school photograph.
It comes from 1939, when the lads were aged about six.
He can name a few of them as well - second from the left on the back row is Douglas Morley, the older brother of Ken Morley, aka Coronation Street's Reg Holdsworth.
Second from the right on the back row is John Pomfret, with William on the right.
Looking at the eight lads sitting down, on the left is David Rodgers, Ronnie Brownhill is fourth from right, Jack Ray is fourth from the left, while on the very left is Bryan Douglas, who went to play football for Blackburn Rovers and England.
