A COUPLE have come across an old trophy, which originated in Blackburn, while browsing in an antiques shop in Cumbria.
The cup, was engraved with County Borough of Blackburn, Clean Milk Competition, 1947, Palatine Billinge Nook'.
Reg and Nora Cooper wonder if any readers have any information about the trophy and what it was awarded for. We can surmise that Palatine at Billinge Nook, was either a farm or a dairy - or do you know differently?
