MY name is Kirsty, I was born on October 2, 1969 at Queen's Park Hospital, Blackburn.

I am trying to trace relatives who know of my birth parents.

My father Stephen George Pemberton was born on April 13, 1951.

He was in the RAF, last known address was Digby.

He was getting married in December 1969 to a woman who was also pregnant.

Other family members were living at 25 Alma Street, Blackburn. His service number was T.8079359.

My mother was Jean Elizabeth Grimshaw who lived at 19 Cobden Street, other members were Norman Fredrick Grimshaw of 15 Balaclava Street, Blackburn, and Nora Grimshaw who lived at 130 Moss Street, Blackburn.

There are other names related to me in some way, these are my mother's mother and father, George Grimshaw and Helen who died at 33 years of pneumonia, my mum's sister is Wendy who was 12 and a Kathleen Grimshaw.

I was placed in the Bradstock Nursery.

This has taken me years to try and trace and this is my last hope of finding anyone as I really want to know about my family and let them know about mine.

I am now 37 with an 11-year-old son and seven-year-old daughter who would also like to know where I came from and if they have any relatives.

I just hope someone can help me in any way, as it would be the best Christmas present our family could have, especially me.
