FORMER pupils of Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School in Blackburn are being asked to look in their lofts for any memorabilia they may have from their schooldays.
Items from the 1970s are needed for a reunion being held at the school on Saturday when anyone who attended the school during the decade is invited to attend.
Joanna Lavelle, who is organising the Supersonic Seventies reunion said: “We are putting on a display for former pupils to enjoy during the day.
“In our archive we have a lot of memorabilia from the sixties but we are a bit short of seventies items for some reason.
“If anyone has any items from photographs to programmes or even old football kit or uniform and would either like to loan or donate it we would love to hear from them.”
The reunion will include tours of the school and a lunch with a talk given by long-serving teacher Jim Grogan.
Anyone with items to donate or wishing for more information should contact Joanna on 01254 686333.
