IT HAS been leaked that the European Union has agreed the United Kingdom, as it’s an island, is best suited to receive its nuclear waste. In turn, our government has okayed filling frack holes with the waste. Our country is now declared a ‘sacrifice zone’.

Already, our fracked land will become waste within 20 years (true in USA and Australia), sometimes within 2-3 years — no water, milk, or produce, and homes cracked up from seismic events (mini-earthquakes) on Fylde to date, while cattle died in Yorkshire after 15 minutes roaming on test-fracked land, of minor strength against a full frack of toxic chemicals.

Since national news announced another 27 licenses to frack recently, a further yet-undeclared quantity have been granted, issued by the Oil and Gas Authority.

Of the fossil fuels, fracked oil and gas emit the most carbon, worsening climate change and the hole in the ozone layer, threatening our existence.

What good is a 50-year gas supply when we shall have been driven to seek refuge abroad long before?
