Romantic lead needed for Oswaldtwistle Shakespeare performance

A SHAKESPEAREAN romantic lead is being sought as a cast replacement.
Oswaldtwistle Players are staging The Merchant Of Venice by William Shakespeare in October and are looking for someone to play Bassanio.
Secretary Clare Highton said: “Rehearsals for this lively dark comedy are underway and proving to be great fun under the direction of Chris Knight. Bassanio is the ‘romantic’ lead of sorts, and needs to be aged about 35 to 50.”
