Burnley theatre society celebrates award nominations

MEMBERS of The Garrick are celebrating their latest clutch of award nominations.
The Burnley-based society, which performs at The ACE Centre in Nelson, is up for five titles at the Association of Community Theatre’s 2012 Spotlight Awards Viv Thornber is in line for the ‘most accomplished actor in a drama’ title for Valentine in Love Affair, with Ken Entwistle listed as Vincent in Natural Causes for ‘most original comedy performance in a drama.
These two plays have received nods in the most creative production drama category, while Cranford is up for most original production concept drama.
