THE A Cappella Singers will be performing a special fundraising concert at St Mary’s RC Church in Burnley at the beginning of July.
The popular choral group will be performing a programme of specially chosen summer music, ranging from popular songs such as Blow the Wind Southerly and Blaydon Races to items by John Rutter.
Both the men’s and women’s sections of the group will get the chance to peform songs to showcase their individual strenghts along with a number of joint numbers.
The concert will raise funds for the church, which was built in 1848, to help meet costs of treating dry rot and repairing a leaking roof.
